Founded in 1971 by Walter Delibori and Giorgio Cristoforetti, Cantine Delibori remains family-owned, producing wines from across the Veneto in northeastern Italy, including Valpolicella and Amarone.
The Custoza DOC is situated to the west of the Veneto, not far from Verona, and is known for producing white blends based on Cortese, Friulano, Garganega, and Trebbiano grapes. This wine can be considered the white counterpart to the red Bardolino, as the production areas of these two DOCs significantly overlap.
Tasting Note
The wines from Custoza are characterized by their freshness and crispness, and that's certainly the case here. It offers delicate aromas of cherry blossom and orchard fruit on a light, restrained frame that's backed by a subtle minerality.
