Rhône Valley, France | $48.99

Coudoulet sits in close proximity to the renowned Beaucastel Vineyard, just beyond the borders of Chateauneuf du Pape, in the broader Cotes du Rhone. Despite this distinction, the similarities between Coudoulet and Beaucastel are more pronounced than their differences.

The Coudoulet soil closely mirrors that of Beaucastel, featuring the signature pebble stones, known as Galets Roulés, typical of Chateauneuf du Pape. These stones, known for absorbing and radiating heat, contribute to the creation of a rich and textured white blend.

Tasting Note

A blend of Bourboulenc (30%), Marsanne (30%), Viognier (30%), and Clairette (10%), the Coudoulet Blanc is often affectionately referred to as the "baby Beaucastel.” This shows restrained aromatics of lime blossoms buoyed by apricot, lemon, and beeswax. There's a lovely depth to the fruit, with richness on the palate that's counterbalanced by a freshness that carries through to the finish. Coudolet, once again, offers such remarkable value.
