Tasting Note
Such a serious Chardonnay, with a beautiful combination of ripe lemon with present but well-integrated, high quality oak, accented with peach yogurt and subtle white blossoms. Beautiful and seamless on the palate; medium-bodied with fresh acidity and elevated fruit concentration that effortlessly balances the new oak (25% new). This is a serious wine that punches well above the “Estate” designation. I’d love to revisit this in a couple of years to allow the oak to further integrate and it’s clear the best is yet to come.
