Tasting Note
This platinum winner shows excellent varietal character, with a combination of cassis and ripe blackberry fruit that's layered with minty herbs, fresh florals, graphite, and well-integrated oak spice. It's nicely proportioned, with fruit weight that is well above the norm to balance the dense, structured tannins. 2019 wasn't a blockbuster vintage, but you wouldn't be able to tell here, with a lovely balance of fruit ripeness and freshness.
