From Mosel to Glass: Harvested from 40-year-old Mosel clone 21 vines, this off-dry Riesling mirrors the renowned Mosel style. Bursting with vibrant citrus and a distinctive minerality, it's aged in the winery for a few years before release, adding depth and complexity. The 2019 vintage serves as a tribute to old vines, embodying Ann Sperling's unwavering dedication to excellence.
Tasting Note
This is classic East Kelowna Riesling through and through, with a combination of bright lime and green apple fruit that's lifted by white orchard blossoms. It's off-dry in style, but beautifully balanced with vervy acidity and a current of chalky minerality. The old 40-year-old vines give this outstanding fruit concentration, providing a textured, pithy quality to the long finish.
