2022 Buddha’s Rose

Bella

Okanagan Valley, Canada | $32.99

Since being established in 2011, Bella boasts a slew of firsts in Canada's sparkling wine scene. From releasing the first Ancestrale Method sparkler in the PNW to unveiling North America's inaugural sparkling orange wine and introducing Canada's first Piquette, they're dead serious about fizz.

As BC’s sparkling pioneers, Bella incorporates holistic and regenerative farming practices to produce terroir-driven bubbles while prioritizing ecosystem health. This reflects a deep respect for nature and a commitment to producing high-quality wines that are environmentally sustainable. They prioritize soil health through minimal disturbance and organic practices; integrate livestock for natural fertilization and pest control; and focus on carbon sequestration for climate mitigation. It's the real deal; not just a Champagne marketing budget.

Tasting Note

Buddha's Blend, named after the winery’s bulldog, is a blend of Chardonnay and Gamay. This lively rosé captures the essence of summer, with wild red berries and rhubarb, alongside a subtle sourdough accent after aging five months on lees. It's bone dry, with zero dosage, and carried by brisk, zippy acidity that leads to a mouthwatering finish.
